Student Films
Pikachu’s First Kiss and The Big Race are Claymation films made during the Chinatown Beacon Center’s Summer Camp in 2006. The Youth Leadership Program at CES made “A Meal to Remember,” a documentary sharing their perspectives on identity, culture and the Chinatown community. The film was made possible by a grant from the National Youth Visions for Strong Neighborhood program through Community Technology Centers Network and Learn and Serve America. All films were written, produced, directed and edited by CES youth under the direction of Youth Program Coordinator Aimee Vicencio.
