Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with CES. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Homework Tutor: Elementary after school program in Chinatown. Volunteer 1 or 2 afternoons per week, minimum 6 months commitment.
- Enrichment Assistant: After school program in Chinatown. Volunteer 1 or 2 afternoon per week to offer or assist in art, sports, or cultural activities. Minimum 6-month commitment.
- Health Career Guest Speaker: We are looking for people from any work capacity related to health care (community clinic, hospital, biotech, senior care, public health) who would like to be a guest speaker to help young people learn about "the real world" of your career and education, and to encourage young people of all backgrounds to explore health career opportunities.
- Environmental Guest Speaker: We are looking for guest speakers to share their involvement (volunteer or paid) in any project promoting energy, food, and resource sustainability as well as other environmental issues, particularly those affecting the urban environment.
- Board of Directors: CES is looking for caring individuals who would be interested in volunteering to help guide CES' future as a member of our Board of Directors.
